Ingredients:
60 ml white Havana Club rum
60 ml lime juice
1 tsp. powdered sugar
3 leafs peppermint
1 spray peppermint
Soda
Preparation and serving:
Crush together the peppermint leafs and the sugar. Then combine with the rum and the lemon juice in a shaker half filled with ice. Shake well and strain in a Collins glass. Garnish with spray of peppermint.
Variants:
In USA are used different rums, due to the ban of Cuba products.
Hemingway variant: excludes completely the sugar, which compensates with less lemon juice.
