Ingredients:
2 big onions
80 gf. flour
250 ml olive oil
1 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. red pepper
Preparation and serving:
Cut the onions in disks, then split the disks in rings. Roll them well in a mix of the flour, the red pepper and the salt. Heat the oil in a deep pan, then put the onion rings in carefully, that they do not stick to each other. Roast until they are golden and crispy stirring from time ti time. Remove from the pan and leave on absorbing paper. Turn the rings and change the paper, until the most of the oil is gone.
Traditional side dish for Veal steak with onions (Zwiebelrostbraten).
