Vanilla crescents (Vanillekipferl). Austrian cuisine

Ingredients:
220 gr. flour
150 gr. butter
80 gr. hazelnuts
80+60 gr. powdered sugar
1 egg
3 tbsp. vanilla sugar

Preparation and serving:
Sift the flour in a big bowl. Dice the cold butter and mix with the flour. Add the hazelnuts, egg and the powdered sugar (80 gr.). Knead until to make an elastic dough, the leave in the fridge for 30 min. Roll out to make a thick layer, then cut in bands with 1 cm. width. Roll each to make a crescent. Bake in preheated (160°C) until they become gold coloured. Until they are hot roll in a mix of vanilla and powdered (60 gr.) sugar.
