Ingredients:
4 large pork chops
2 onions
8 potatoes
300 ml vegetable stock
4 cooking apples
100 gr. Cheddar cheese
35+40 gr. butter
Black pepper
Salt
Preparation and serving:
Chop the onions into thin slices, blanch for 1 - 2 minutes and drain. Peel and slice the potatoes and place it in a baking tin together with the onions. Season, add 250 ml stock to cover and bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 180°C. Then put the butter (35 gr.) in a frying pan and fry quickly the chops on the both sides until they get light-brown, then putt hem in the bakint tin over the potatoes and onion. Cut the apples in slices and arrange them around the chops. Deglaze the frying pan with the remaining stock and pour over the chops. Grate the cheese and sprinkle it over the dish. Add few small pats of butter on the apples. Return to the oven for 35 min., until the surface gets brown.
Serve hot.
